I’ll let Shawn describe the ride. Here are the pictures that I took. Nice job everyone!
Here is some more documentation / proof. What a day. Great riding temps, sun was shining, traffic was absent. Slight change of plans with the route, decided on a loop as opposed to some out and backs. Didn’t effect the total vert though, still a ton of climbing. Especially for April! I felt pretty slow heading up Gonzo early in the ride but felt much more comfortable on Kinsman at about mile 50 (go figure). I’m sure the pics will be posted soon so I might as well admit I put on a clinic on how NOT to change a flat. 3 tubes and 3 CO2s later…In my defense that bead was ridiculous. Right guys? It was the bead.
The kits look and ride great. Fit is nice and that chamois?…Woo! Very nice. We got honked at by a few cars full of young ladies. I’m used to that, but it was a treat for some of these other guys. We’ll have to get another ride going soon. Great time!
