Sort of. Race season is already technically underway but much of New England is still trying to claw free of Old Man Winter’s grip. Just this past Friday I was very happy I had procrastinated getting my winter tires off. I definitely needed them as Central NH had (hopefully) one last shot of winter weather.
NEMBA Racing is gearing up for our ‘official’ season kick off this coming Saturday with our team meet and greet at Russell Mill. We’ll be handing out fresh team kits and getting a team ride in on the expertly built trails at RM. Maybe even a few go-rounds on the pump track for good measure.
We’ve added some awesome socks to our get up this year. Best looking team in New England? We’re obviously biased, but YES. We are.
I am especially excited for this weekend because I have yet to get on dirt this year. Combination of winter weather in NH and me waiting on new parts for my new race bike for 2013. Luckily I was able to button up the build this weekend (had to make a trip to get more zipties to tiddy up my cables) and I’ll be ready to see what its got chasing the likes of the Bully. Who else is on new gear this year?
