Sounds like you had to pass many racers. Whole shots hurt bad, but I did exactly what I said which was in the woods in the top 10 or so. Felt like an expert start to me. Would have been nice if you were up front at the start to help deal with Mr Cycle Smart! Nobody was catching him. I blew myself up for allmost all of lap 1.
